Meet: Rachel Cunningham

Name & Age? Rachel Cunningham, 31.5 ;)

Where's home? Uh, a lot of places. I was born in Australia, but grew up in New Zealand. I've since lived in seven more countries since I was 18. I have many "homes".

What was/is your last/current trip? Just had a month off work — went to Dominican Republic on a road trip, Trinidad for Carnival, Jamaica to relax, Haiti for something different, Miami as a base, and Chicago to visit a friend. It was snowing. I only had summer clothes, needless to say, I didn't stay there too long!

Meet: Amie Grant

Name & Age? Amie Grant, 26

Where's home? Where I spent my youth on the West Coast of Canada, living on the sea and within the mountains of British Columbia. But, home is transitional and I'm learning everyday how to feel more at home in my body.

What was/is your last/current trip? I've spent the last 16 months in Latin America, flying into Colombia in September 2014. After 6 months in Colombia, I took a ferry to Panama where I stayed another 7 months volunteering at farms and hostels. I left Panama in October to head north via bicycle. I am now in Nicaragua and continuing north into Honduras, El Salvador, Belize and then into Mexico. I have no time frame, limit or plans beyond than that. Things never happen like you expect them to, so I just live as the wind

Meet: Pippa Gunn

Meet: Pippa Gunn

Name & Age: Philippa (Pippa) Gunn,  36

Where's home? Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada

What was/is your last/current trip? In the spring of 2014, I quit a professional job working at a museum to fulfill a decade long dream to thru hike 2200 miles on the Appalachian Trail. After spending six months living a very simple life in the woods, I found it impossible to return to the traditional working world. Instead, I spent the winter participating in a self-guided artist residency on a farm in rural Nova Scotia. Afterwards, I moved to British Columbia to work on a horse ranch in the Southern Cariboo, which is where I am living now. So in a sense, I am still ‘travelling’, although I see it more as a ‘pilgrimage’ or ‘lifestyle’.
