What got you started? Ever since I moved to Chile 5 years ago everyone told me about how beautiful the south was so I needed to see it for myself. Also, I decided to give myself a challenge and see how far I could go while spending the least amount of money possible, as well as proving that hitchhiking and backpacking on my own as a woman isn't nearly as dangerous as it's made out to be.

What got you started? I started traveling with my family to see my grandparents in California, then took a leap to study abroad in Europe. Although that fueled my passion for destinations, my actual start in the act of traveling came the summer after my freshman year, when I vagabonded up the West Coast of America and Canada and have travelled on my downtime ever since.

What was/is your last/current trip? I recently went to Panama where I spoke at the Blogger Influencer Week LATAM. Social Media, Blogging, and Influencer campaigns for the travel industry is still a new concept. So it was very exciting to share my passion of digital storytelling with an audience who was so excited to unleash their creativity on social media platforms. After the conference I traveled around the country, visiting the jungles and beaches of Venao, a popular destination for surfers from around the world. I never really got surfer culture. Their laid back lifestyle was a bit too chill for me. But after spending several days at a surfer camp, I must say, my East Coast, Type-A heart melted to let the surfer vibes in

Where's home? Where I spent my youth on the West Coast of Canada, living on the sea and within the mountains of British Columbia. But, home is transitional and I'm learning everyday how to feel more at home in my body.
What was/is your last/current trip? I've spent the last 16 months in Latin America, flying into Colombia in September 2014. After 6 months in Colombia, I took a ferry to Panama where I stayed another 7 months volunteering at farms and hostels. I left Panama in October to head north via bicycle. I am now in Nicaragua and continuing north into Honduras, El Salvador, Belize and then into Mexico. I have no time frame, limit or plans beyond than that. Things never happen like you expect them to, so I just live as the wind
